I have no idea what exactly it wants me to try though because when I attempt to open the message it just says it was unable to download the solution. The only thing I can see is that windows is now telling me to "Troubleshoot a problem with your computer's hard disk", Today is the first time it has said this and it hasn't crashed in the last week or two I have had it. Just generally used the system for a few hours and guess what - without any issues! Memtest86 for multiple hours & passes without issue, Prime95 for multiple hours without issue, (It did have a ASUS PCI-E GeForce GT210 1GB installed but I removed this to see if it made any difference) Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit Service Pack 1. It's a Acer Aspire AX1300 slimline desktop PC with the following specs: ![]() This is the third time I have had it now and I cannot seem to make it crash or find the problem with it while I have the machine. So I am having a real hard time here with a friends computer, It seems to crash for him at random times and he said it also doesn't boot into windows, Just a black screen with a cursor. Thanks for the help I'll post back again if anything else comes up in the next few days of testing! I'm doubting anything will though. I just leave it with Avast & Microsoft Security Essentials when I give him it back. Usb audio driver windows 7 version 6.1.7601.18208 install#I'm going to use the system at the side of mine for a few days watching YouTube videos and browsing the internet and see how it goes, If all seems to be good I'll give him it back and warn him again not to install loads of these optimizer & anti-virus programs. Usb audio driver windows 7 version 6.1.7601.18208 drivers#I have done a complete reinstall of windows 7 and the drivers and so far it seems to be working fine, It's done over 300 windows updates and I just ran " SFC /SCANNOW" and it said there are no violations, I also ran " CHKDSK" and it found no problems so hopefully it's sorted. It also had McAfee, AVG & Avast running together. I don't remember them exactly but they were named something along the lines of "Speed Up My PC" / "Easy System Optimizer", There were a few different ones with similar names, It also had a few " Ashampoo" programs on there like " WinOptimizer & Magical Defrag". What are the names of those "One Click Optimizers"? Also, some of those are set to do "Automatic Defragging" and THAT could be causing issues with the SSD. ![]()
